Ah, see, I don’t like aluminum because I always feel like my work slips off the needles too easily and I always end up dropping stitches. I love bamboo, but I do find that I have to replace them more often which is a pain.

Dude… are you doing short rows for this? If not, do you know how to do them? they’re fucking me up.

I DID do short rows for this, and for real I just learned how to do short rows for another project I’m working on. Short rows have scared me for the longest time, I had to do them for my owls sweater but I fucked them up. Somehow, miraculously, you can’t tell. But the picture tutorial in the Carnaby skirt pattern really helped me a lot, more than any video on youtube did or anything. So, hopefully that helps? If not I can try to awkwardly explain it.
